# Privacy

Short version: the JSON you work with stays in your browser.

## JSON you paste or open

Everything you paste, type, drop or open is processed by JavaScript running in your browser tab. It is not uploaded, logged or stored on any server. Opened files are read locally, downloads are created in the browser, and closing or reloading the tab discards your input.

## What is downloaded

Pages, styles, fonts and scripts come from this site. The JSONPath tester loads its query library from this site when the page opens; that request carries none of your data.

## Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking. It never receives what you type, paste or drop into the tools. There are no other analytics, ads or trackers.

## Cookies and storage

The site sets no cookies. Your theme choice and tool options (root type name, package, separator and the like) are saved in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. Your JSON is never saved. Clearing site data removes the saved options.

## Network access

The site's Content-Security-Policy allows connections only to this site and to Cloudflare's analytics endpoint, so the pages could not send your data elsewhere even by mistake.

## Links to other sites

Links to sister sites, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck are ordinary links. Nothing is shared with them unless you follow a link, and then their own privacy terms apply.
